Fishbowls are a type of group discussion that allows individuals to be seen and heard within a large group of participants and for everyone to have a chance to actively participate in the conversation. You can read more about these unique discussions here.
The virtual fishbowl sessions will be broken out by topic track, and facilitated by one of our speakers. We will have a 30-minute introductory session where we outline the way the fishbowls will work, and then attendees can breakout into the track discussion of their choosing. Click here to read the discussion descriptions.
One of the best parts about attending an ATD conference has always been the lasting relationships you build with the people with whom you meet and learn from. Through our virtual platform you will have the ability to connect with fellow attendees in many ways:
One-to-One Conversations: Search for other attendees in the Attendee Directory and start a conversation! You can even filter by role, jobs to be done, or areas that you’re looking for help or are in expert in!
Discussions: There will be numerous ongoing discussions taking place in our discussion board. You can contribute to existing conversations, or start your own!
Session Chats: During each of the conference sessions, you have the option to participate in the group chat taking place. Past attendees have shared that this ability to network and explore topics presented in the session in real-time is a value add to the session experience!
Wrap Party: Join us at the OrgDev Wrap Party, featuring Brittney Johnson. Brittney goes down in Broadway history for being the first African-American woman to play the role of Glinda in the Broadway musical Wicked ! She has also been seen on Broadway as Eponine in Les Misérables, as Little Eva in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, in Motown the Musical, Sunset Boulevard, and as a special guest in Kristin Chenoweth’s For the Girls.
